Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To help At Risk Kids and low income families. We want to offer a positive program that everyone can afford and at the same time be sustainable for covering the rent.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
At this time we will be applying for help through numerous organizations that support non-profits. We are brand new at this so for us it is still a learning curve. We invite any and all help that we can get, not just monetary, but also guidance.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
I believe our capabilities for doing this will be the faith others have in us, especially those with the ability to direct funds towards us.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We are brand new. Therefore, it's a bit early talking about accomplishments. We have already been operating two locations and have a small core of students. Quite frankly it's been a struggle. We are hoping with the 501c3 that things will change for us.

- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
