What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The fear of life is a psychological autoimmune disease. It seeks to protect us from the danger of being alive by holding life itself at arms' length, lest we fall in and perish. It warps the lens of personal psychology through which we perceive the meaning, validity, and the likely effect of everything that happens to us, with us, within us, and around us. It creates and maintains the delusion that life is not safe, that life is not to be trusted. The purpose of our work is to bring the good news to humanity that this disease is easily cured with a simple, harmless act of inward looking with the mind's eye, a brief movement of attention that has been proven to snuff out the cause of all neurotic anxiety and all psychological misery whatsoever in anyone who tries it just once. One cause, one cure.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our work is to make one simple insight into the root cause of all human misery and one simple act of inward looking that effectively eliminates that cause universally available and accessible within the entire human community. For that purpose, we crated The Just One Look Project in 2012.

We organize public meetings in person and online. We publish books, ebooks, videos and audios to help spread our message. We maintain a very active discussion forum where members help one another better understand the process of recovery and regeneration of the psychology that takes place after performing the act of looking at yourself. We maintain an active presence in social sites and other online venues. We are always seeking invitations to speak with people about our method. We offer translations of our materials in several languages.

We have a strong determination to see The Just One Look Method made available free of charge everywhere in the world. We have a network of volunteers spread all over the world who are engaged in a grassroots movement to spread word of our method. Free membership in our discussion forums, podcast, and blog is increasing more and more. Our free online meetings attract more and more people and they spread the word to their friends and family. We are always open to suggestions and criticism.

It took us many years to develop a method that is simple and easy to follow, and can be passed on to anyone willing to try it. We have grown our audience over the years to many thousands of people all over the world.

We encourage self-reliance above all. Most of the people hear our message, try our method, and go though the process on their own. Many will often get in touch with us after a few years to tell us that the method really worked for them and they are happy.

Our goal is to reach 10% of the human population with the invitation to try our method. It is well documented that if the outlook of ten percent of any group of humans changes, it will cause the outlook of all in the group to change.

Assuming this theory is true, and since there are about seven billion human beings alive today, we need only to bring this idea of looking at yourself to the minds of 700 million of us to trigger a tipping point. And in time, this will drive us all sane and reverse our headlong rush to self-destruction.
