Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Mount Vernon At Home supports older adults who are choosing to age at home and in their communities. Critical to our task is helping our members have access to and embrace technology. Upgrading our systems to meet the rising need to connect seniors virtually is literally critical to their survival, as data shows the increased health risks to those who are socially isolated. Our nonprofit wishes to expand our capacity to serve this vulnerable population by upgrading our systems and expanding our capacities for connectivity and outreach.
Mount Vernon At Home seeks to raise funds to enhance our current membership management system which will help us to expand our capacity to serve more members more efficiently. During the pandemic, we had to move our operations remotely, exposing the gap in our ability to manage our database systems which were not web-based, but machine-based. This provided difficulties in not only managing day-to-day operations but also hampered our ability to expand our online social and engagement offerings more efficiently. We expect to use these technologies to expand our membership, lower overall office management costs, capture critical data on our services and outcomes and expand our programmatic offerings. Members will be able to log in to their accounts to request services and sign up for events and we can better track their requests.
