Lasting Freedom Online Curriculum

Lasting Freedom is a Christ-centered, action-oriented online curriculum for eating disorders and body image issues and includes a weekly webinar featuring inspiring guest authors, counselors and speakers and take "action steps" toward their recovery. Not intended to be a replacement for one-on-one counseling or treatment, Lasting Freedom is designed to complement traditional counseling and treatment programs offered by other providers, and/or to continue an individual's personal growth even if they are not currently in a counseling relationship.

This daily eDevo delivers "bite-sized truth" to inboxes FREE, five days a week. Subscribers frequently send responses of gratitude for this program, and we plan to release it in printed form soon.

The FINDINGbalance website (www.findingbalance.com) is the world's largest online resource for eating and body image issues. Our Online Video Library houses over 600 free videos featuring counselors, psychologists, doctors, nutritionists, and other knowledgeable advocates for the prevention and healing of disordered eating and body image dissatisfaction. Videos on self-injury, anxiety, insomnia, nutrition and other related topics are also included. Additional libraries include articles, "Ask Our Panel" Q&A's and Recommended Books.

Launched August 2014, the purpose of the Christian Treatment Network is to increase collaboration between faith-based providers while also creating a valuable resource for those seeking faith-based care for their recovery journey. This the first effort made to centralize access to Christian counselors, nutritionists, coaches, speakers, resources & treatment programs. As the network grows, individuals will have a nation-wide comprehensive list of providers in their area who work on the issue from a faith basis. Additionally, professional members have opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate with each other to expand the reach of faith-based efforts in eating disorder and body image work around the world.

Weekly community prayer groups to gather for support, community, and to pray for those fighting for freedom from their eating disorder, disordered eating struggles, and body image issues, and family and friends supporting a loved one through their own battle.
