When you take to the road as a driver, what you drive and how you drive will make a difference.

Mission

Green Driving America is committed to helping drivers make transportation choices in their lives that will benefit themselves and the planet. To achieve this goal, we educate on clean transportation and transportation efficiency, showing the benefits of reductions in CO2 emissions, energy waste, fossil fuel use, air pollution, and money spent on fuel, maintenance, and repairs. The Clean Transportation Path project provides classroom presentations on the benefits of low- to zero-emission vehicles, and on smart driving practices in gas-powered vehicles. And the Schools Are Not Drive-Thrus project works with schools to implement measured idle-free schools campaigns that address the issue of prolonged vehicle idling on school grounds, especially during the dismissal period.
