Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goals are to provide awareness to Kansas and throughout the nation about the needs of people who are suffering from tick-borne infections.

We wish to provide access to medical testing and treatment Standard of Care endorsed by the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (www.ILADS.org) through Advocacy, Education, Support, and grants to individuals and families in need.

We believe that it is a civil right, and basic human right, to have access to long term antibiotic therapy for severe bacterial infections that is medically necessary to prevent disability and death from tick-borne infections.

Using social networks, websites, media, fundraising events, we hope to reach out to people in Kansas and in the nation to raise awareness and raise funding to give to individuals and to families in need.

Our capabilities are growing now. In the past, ALL of our Board members have been sick!!! We would have board meetings with three of us at home in bed on IV's!!! We are increasing our capacity by finding ways to have online board meetings, conference calling, and use the modern technology to get out our message to the community, and to help one another. We are Friends helping Friends by sharing our experiences and helping one another.

In the past year, we have received our 501 c 3 determination letter from the IRS, work with an accounting firm to manage our financials, and are listed on Guidestar and Amazon Smiles.

We are in the process of building a wonderful website with many new features that will increase our capacity...with a nonprofit CRM, and learning modules. Great news!

Our progress will be tracked in our new CRM. We are looking forward to increasing our funding to perform activities for the public in providing awareness (such as USATF 5K race/Walk/Wellness Festival, media), and to provide Advocacy, Education, Support to people in Kansas with tick-borne infections through our website, social media. We hope to increase donations to provide grants to individuals and families to access medical testing and treatment endorsed by www.ILADS.org.
