Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our theater exists in a historic 1872 building. We are located on the third floor and accessibility is by stair only. We lose a significant number of patrons due to a lack of an elevator to the building. The building is currently owned by a local physician and we are pursuing purchasing the building and finding funding to install an elevator.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Purchase the building housing our theater and make it handicap accessible to expand our potential audience.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are in discussion with some local groups with exploring the possibility of establishing a theater district with an eye toward purchasing the building and exploring grant opportunities for improving access to the building.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are working with local governments and a Planning company to help make this a reality
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The current owner of the building has given us first right of purchase on the building and a local architecture and planning company has developed ideas on how to add accessibility including an elevator. We have cooperation from local government on helping establish an arts council and pursue funding options.
