Jewish Executive Leadership Conference
The Jewish Executive Leadership (JEL) Conference, sponsored by the Redstone Family, is LA’s largest interactive networking forum bringing high-level Jewish executives together with Jewish MBA and law students, young professionals, and entrepreneurs. Each year, hundreds of graduate students gather to hear experienced executives who are also community leaders impact upon them their career successes and the importance of young community leadership. Past keynotes include: Alan Horn (Disney), Ron Meyer (NBCUniversal), Shari Redstone (Viacom), Les Moonves (CBS).

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
JGSI is the national movement for Jewish graduate students and alumni, the only organization solely dedicated to this demographic.
Our mission is to help bridge the gap in Jewish engagement for ages 22-35 by supporting Jewish life on graduate school campuses and connecting Jewish graduate students, alumni, and young professionals to their heritage and the greater Jewish community.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
JGSI’s growth has been made possible by our innovative model, designed to simultaneously keep overhead low and engagement high. We train and empower volunteer grad student leaders to create Jewish communities on campus, which funnel club members into JGSI’s signature off-campus offerings, then into our Alumni Community—keeping participants connected with the Jewish community for life.
This decentralized organizational structure harnesses the enthusiasm of volunteers and empowers our student leaders to take responsibility for Jewish life at their schools. JGSI has thus been able to build a large footprint of high impact programs without brick-and-mortar locations and with only a small team.
On campus, JGSI creates Jewish communities on grad campuses through affiliate student associations. We train and empower student volunteers to execute consistent Jewish programs and serve as JGSI reps on their campuses. We provide ongoing operational support, content, and strategic oversight to a united network of affiliate clubs under our banner. Off campus, JGSI runs signature Jewish programs to inspire grad students, alumni, young professionals, executives and attorneys, Conferences, Fellowships, Shabbats, Retreats, Speakers, and Women’s Affinity. Focus on professional development, ethical leadership, Jewish identity, networking,
industry trends, and Jewish education. Following graduation, JGSI continues providing Jewish engagement by creating a community of thousands of alumni across North America. Personalized engagement platform via
meetups, networking, Judaic enrichment, and volunteer opportunities. Alumni forge meaningful connections with
Jewish community leaders and each other.
