Empowering Your Choices
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Research has shown that most deaths recorded in cancer-related cases are due to negligence, misinformation, limitations on choice of treatment and financial limitations. The cost of the lengthy radiation, complicated surgeries, chemotherapy, and medications may reach over 1 million dollars per year. In light of this sad reality, it is imperative for all hands to be on deck in helping people across the world to meet the high financial requirements for them to stand a fighting chance against cancer. Individuals benefit from knowing that they are part of a loving family or global community of people who care and desire to save a life. Most of us desire to live a happy and long life with loved ones, but this innate desire dwindles once a member of the family, friend or loved one is diagnosed with cancer. Within a short time, the love and joy we share is replaced by frustration and uncertainties resulting from financial burdens and possible bankruptcy.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to assist as many people as possible by providing funds for their cancer treatment of choice directly to their treatment provider(s).
To empower those with cancer by expanding treatment options oftentimes limited by insurance coverage. To relieve financial burdens so healing may be the main focus.
CWI helps ease financial pressure for cancer patients. Whether treatment recommendations are covered by insurance or not, CWI's mission is to help the patient by making funds available for their preferred treatment plans.
Final outcome goals include:
Reduction in the increase of cancer-related mortality rate across America
Increase in treatment options available to cancer patients
Prevention of bankruptcy or financial ruin
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
CWI Media Awareness Campaign via social media, fliers, bills and media advertisements.
We have promoted the “power of us” - building a community of like-minds where we share love and support through inspiring art and books, as well as donations from people who desire to heal the world of its maladies. CWI has brought relief, support and a smiles to the faces of many who would not have been able to afford cancer treatment nor survive the economic and emotional impact of the disease. Our partners and donors provide not only financial support, but also we give our experience and help to others.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
CWI's continual outreach and efforts by the Board members to build our brand have already resulted in many organizations such as The American Cancer Society to recommend patients apply for assistance from us. Our capabilities to serve those with cancer grow as we expand our exposure. We are making a continual effort to further funding so as to achieve the goal of helping as many with cancer as possible.
Our advertising and outreach activities result in our capacity to meet CWI's Mission .
CWI's activities will be spearheaded by Micol Sanko (who holds a B.S. in Psychology, a degree in Legal studies from UCLA, and extensive experience in both Creative Arts and Health & Wellness), Cary Daniél (Legal practitioner) and Donna LaBelle (Degree in Natural Medicine for Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant and Holistic Health Practitioner from Global College, and a certificate from the Nutritional Leadership Institute).
CWI and it's Board Members are available and working toward meeting the goals we have set in our Mission.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our progress is easily tracked and revealed through: the actual number of applicants; the amount of funds distributed and the amount of people that have received the benefit of ease of financial burden and/or availability of treatment options. The progress is already revealed through numbers we track on our data sheets as we grow. We expect a continual improvement in our ability to meet our Mission. In addition, CWI has made significant progress with our ads and exposure which have resulted in many Hospitals and Patient Advocacy groups recommending cancer patients to our organization. These include The American Cancer Society, The Patient Advocate Foundation and Cancer Care to name a few. We have been able to impact the lives of people with cancer diagnosis and touch them deeply with our financial and emotional support in being there when others have not helped.
