Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Carousel Rides

We give rides on the first fully hand-carved, all-volunteer carousel to be built since the Great Depression. Anyone with a physical or mental disability is always welcome to ride for free, and we give away around 10,000 tokens each year to agencies serving disadvantaged children and youth.

Population(s) Served

The Carousel is a venue for hundreds of birthday parties and private rentals each year.

Population(s) Served

We built and maintain Dragon Hollow Playarea, immediately to the west of the Carousel. The play area was given to the city, but we take care of it. It provides free, wholesome fun for children and their families.

Population(s) Served

The Carousel hosts several special events each year - Kids' Day, Fairy Tale and Superhero Festival, Haunted Hollow and Santa's Breakfast - and gives free rides during Kids' Day, on Thanksgiving, on Christmas, and from 2 to 11pm on New Year's Eve.
