What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Key School
Key School’s campus in Fort Worth serves 100 students in grades K-12. Students and families reside throughout Tarrant, Dallas, and Parker Counties.
Key School assists students with learning differences through small classes and individually tailored instruction, utilizing their strengths in order to reach their academic and social potential. Key School is fully accredited by COGNIA and has a proven track record of increasing the academic achievement of students with learning differences.
At Key, students gain self-confidence after feeling defeat in other learning environments. They read and write at or above grade level and experience success for the first time in their educational journey. Students are able to expand their horizons and attend college when it was not an option before attending Key School.
Summer Program
Our Summer Program is designed for students entering grades K-12 who struggle in school or who need the benefit of getting an academic boost for the coming school year.
Key Dyslexia Therapy Training Program
The hallmark of our Training Center, Key Dyslexia Therapy Training Program offers in-depth and multi-sensory structured training for individuals in the community interested in becoming dyslexia therapists. Educators learn the latest research-based strategies to teach reading, writing, and spelling, enabling other schools to offer the same valuable instruction on which Key School relies for comprehensive dyslexia therapy.
Key Training Center
The Training Center provides educator training in the community as well as outreach to parents about various topics related to learning differences.
The training program provides educators, parents, and community members the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of students who have a written language disorder, such as dyslexia. Topics may be selected from our professional development and outreach menu or designed to meet the unique needs of the audience.
