What we aim to solve New!

Currently, there are no missionaries in certain countries in the Middle East. They have either been killed or driven out. Even western humanitarian aid is not allowed. A medical clinic that was set up to vaccinate young children against polio was bombed by extremists. There are no schooling options for those who are orphaned, impoverished, or persecuted for their faith. These are the forgotten children. Our ministry is one of the very few that is daring to go where others won't go in order to spread the Good News of the Gospel and break the chains of poverty and illiteracy by providing the love of Jesus, an education, and humanitarian aid.

RCF, Inc. exists to promote the hope and love of Jesus around the world and, in particular, in Middle Eastern countries which do not permit missionaries or any form of western aid in their countries (ie: Pakistan). Our particular focus is on providing a Christian education to those who are orphaned, impoverished, destitute, or oppressed because of their faith.

We want to provide an alternative to human trafficking, slavery, prostitution, recruitment for terrorist activities and suicide missions for the poor children in this part of the world. We also provide an education that will give them the opportunity to break the chains of illiteracy and poverty. We provide meals each day in school because so many of the children are malnourished due to lack of food, dehydration, and diarrhea due to unsanitary drinking water.

We give these children spiritual hope, an education, medical, and humanitarian aid. We also aim to transform the spirit - bring hope where once, only despair resided.

Our strategy is to grow our school as we grow our giving base. We began with our very committed Board of Directors rallying their Spheres of Influence to partner with us to fund the school and it's programs. We continue to grow our donor base with mass mailings and email newsletters. We take a very personal approach and view our donors as family (we have very high donor retention). We have grown our donor base through social media outlets as well as fundraisers such as “Christmas in July", “Giving Tuesday", Backyard Gatherings, Porch Parties, Golf Outings, and Tea Fundraisers. All are aimed at educating people as to the plight of the children and making them aware of how few organizations are geared to helping in this part of the world.

We also have a child sponsorship program and we have churches and several Foundations that partner with us as well.

We basically work from the “inside out" in this dangerous part of the world. Since Christians cannot go into these countries, we have a committed and devoted staff of Christians within the country itself that serve as the Director, teachers, security staff, etc. They have proven to be excellent stewards of all finances. Every dime that is spent is accounted for with receipts and expense reports overseen by our accountant. We are “in" the school all the time thanks to Skype and Facetime and talk on a daily basis with the Director and staff. We can account for every dime that is being spent on these precious children.

What started as a small in home school with a handful of children has now just moved into our second building (we maxed out at 50 students in our first). We now have 64 full time students with many on the waiting list. We can accommodate up to 80-90 children in the facility to which we recently moved.

We have shown that we can sustain the school at each level. We are conservative in wanting to have enough funds in the bank to sustain a full year's worth of expenses. We are financially conservative, while trusting God when he leads us to take the next growth step.

We have progressed from having $3,000 in the bank as income in 2013 to having $51,000 in income in 2017. We have grown from serving a handful of children in 2012 in a homeschool environment to now serving 64 full times students with a long waiting list and capacity for 20 more. We have grown our donor base by over 750%. We see the progress every day by seeing lives being transformed. Where once you could only see faces filled with despair and hopelessness, you now see lives that exude joy, hope, and the love of Jesus Christ. The proof is in the faces of those we serve.

The children are learning and growing exponentially. They are so thankful for the opportunity to get an education and therefore, are excelling in their studies.

Children who were illiterate are now studying up to a grade 8-9 level. Children can read and write, do mathematics, and are learning computer skills (most had never even seen let alone touched a computer before coming to our school). They are able to read their Bibles and share their faith with family members and siblings who cannot read.

We are equipped to enable the students to get the equivalency of their high school diploma. We have plans to add college level classes, and for those who would not choose college, make vocational training available.

We also want to provide housing to the orphans who attend our school. Many may have a distant relative at whose house they may lay their head at night, but cannot afford to feed and clothe them, let alone educate them.

We keep trusting God and the wisdom of a Board of Directors with excellent business and financial expertise.
