Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Phase One: Earthwalk Explorer

The NSVC Phase One program is focused on the public presentation of our 3-dimensional 8'x16' walkable map of the eastern US, with colorful Geoshow experiences projected on the map, to help visitors of all ages learn about our country's rich natural resources, our geography, history and culture. Nearly 20,000 visitors have experienced the Explorer in 8 locations across Pennsylvania, giving the unique exhibit a 96% approval rating. It has opened the way for the Phase Two Earthwalk map: a 100'x60' 3D experience of the entire USA, in a permanent facility in eastern Pennsylvania. Ultimately the organization aims to create the National Scenic Visitors Center, centered around Earthwalk USA, a 100-yard-long map of the USA, including Alaska and Hawaii in correct geospatial proportion, a shared experience for visitors of all demographics from the US and around the world.
