Mission

Partnership for Paws feels that it is our responsibility to help save and improve the lives of abused and abandoned dogs and cats who find themselves in high kill shelters across Central Florida. We provide spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care and then work to place them with caring and loving families. We also work to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Community Outreach

We have recently started a program to assist people in our local communities who are having financial issues vetting their pets. We request that they provide some type of volunteer service for a local shelter or for our rescue and in return we will pay to have their pets brought up to date on vaccines and help them with HW preventative until they are back on their financial feet.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our aim is to work to save adoptable animals from kill shelters across Florida and Georgia, but also to educate the public about the responsibility of pet ownership which includes the need to spay and neuter their animals.

We aim to help by assisting individuals who have pets who are not spayed and neutered in locating low cost clinics and programs in their communities that will assist them with the cost associated with spay/neuter surgery. In some cases, we also help to pay for those services if we determine that assisting is the only way we can insure their animals will get proper vet care and sterilization.

We have a specific community outreach budget that we utilize for this purpose.

We have been able to assist at least 20 individuals with spay and neuter services and we hope to be able to increase that number with more aggressive fundraising and grant requests.
