recovering missing, exploited and sex-trafficked youth
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Human Trafficking, specifically Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking, is a growing problem in the United States with traumatic consequences for the children who are direct victims and their families. The State of Texas is among the highest ranking states in regard to numbers of victims, with Houston and the Dallas Metroplex being among the highest ranked U.S. cities.
We are dedicated to finding and rescuing each missing, each exploited, each trafficked teen....each ONE.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our four main goals in relation to Human Trafficking and Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking in Texas are:
1. Prevent minors from becoming trafficking victims
2. Rescue minors who are trafficking victims
3. Decrease the likelihood of a minor being re-victimized
4. Assist in the prosecution of traffickers
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Statistics show, the longer a minor is "on the street", the greater their chances of becoming a trafficking victim. Therefore, our main strategy is centered around those minors, also sometimes referred to as "unaccompanied youth". These minors are often reported as a runaway or missing, but minors who have been discarded by their family and therefore are not being searched for by anyone, are not uncommon.
We work directly with families, law enforcement, DFPS investigators, CASA advocates, counselors, school personnel, and others to identify and locate missing minors. Our goal is to locate and rescue these minors before they become trafficking victims. Thus preventing the severe trauma of trafficking and potential years of consequences experienced by many victims, along with the extensive aftercare services needed for restoration of their health and wellbeing. In addition, we monitor social media platforms and sex industry related sites to identify and locate minors who are suspected trafficking victims and are being advertised for sex.
When we obtain the location of a minor, we contact local, State or Federal law enforcement agencies to move in and rescue the minor. We then connect the minors, and their families when applicable, to partner organizations who provide comprehensive aftercare services including mental health and medical services, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, housing, education, and workforce training.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our search volunteers are highly trained in online investigations and are equipped with some of the latest high-tech tools to gather and analyze online communications, social connections, and geolocation data.
Many of our volunteers are also licensed private investigators, who conduct physical surveillance of persons of interest and locations, along with utilizing their access to additional data and investigative tools.
We are members of multiple regional anti-human trafficking coalitions (North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition, Tarrant County 5-Stones Taskforce, and C7 Human Trafficking Coalition (formerly Denton County Human Trafficking Coalition)), and work closely with law enforcement agencies and detectives to provide them the best possible information to help facilitate the rescue of missing minors and trafficking victims.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Between January 1, 2015 and April 1, 2018, we have...
Helped to locate and rescue 82 minors including 45 Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking victims.
We have also provided law enforcement with 15 intelligence reports identifying suspected human trafficking operations.
