What we aim to solve
The long-term strategic goal of Military Muscle Foundation is to create a community that will have a lasting impression to battle veteran suicide, depression and PTSD. We will accomplish this vision by raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for the needs of veterans and service members; providing unique, direct programs and services to meeting their needs.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Got your 6
Studies have shown that fitness can play an important role in helping veterans overcome Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is why the Military Muscle Foundation has the Got Your 6 program. We work with gyms all over the country to provide fitness and health club memberships to struggling veterans. Our goal is provide these veterans with a free gym membership to a gym for them and or their family members for a year. Once a month we want to find a veteran to award this gym membership to. We know fitness is truly important and can be life-changing for our veterans and their families.
Foundation Assistance Program
This fund provides financial assistance to families of veterans who are faced with adversity. Funds from this program aid eligible families. Through our fundraising programs, the Foundation has provided financial aid to enhance the morale and aid families in the time of need. The Foundation has provided both tangible and various morale support items to veterans helping them on their road to recovery. Support has been provided to active duty military, veterans, and their families.
20 to 0
To raise awareness about Veteran suicide PTSD in our nation. To bring attention for our nation’s veterans that they have another option to the classic “throwing pills at the problem” method of treatment and to connect our veteran community. The 20 to 0 is an awareness initiative to help veterans, active duty members and their families who suffer from PTSD and suicide. There is a growing epidemic within the military community that needs to be addressed. This program aims to educate the community about the local resources and services available to veterans and their families. The 20 to 0 program highlights those who want to raise awareness and fundraise to support the Military Muscle Foundation.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal for the Military Muscle Foundation is to spread awareness about suicide, PTSD and depression. We want to inform all service members, veterans, and active duty personnel that we as an organization are here to help support. We have built a community of members who's main goal is to be there in their time of need and help to be accountable in achieving the goals set.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Military Muscle Foundation positively impacts the veteran community through fitness and our social media platform. By emphasizing our core programs - focused on Outreach and Engagement, Mental Health Support, Physical Health & Wellness, and Financial Assistance, Employment – MMF works to battle the spectrum of barriers to successfully help veterans life a healthy and fulfilling life.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Providing support from a social, monetary, and physical standpoint Military Muscle Foundation has changed the lives of many families. Over the past couple of years we have raised over $45,000 to help families in need. Some of our programs are the Family Assistance Program, Got Your 6 Program, and 20 to 0 Program.
The Family Assistance Program helps families who were faced with tragedy or in hardship. We provide both monetary, physical, and emotional support for those families who are in need.
The Got Your 6 Program that helps to fund gym free or heavily discounted memberships for veterans. Our core believe it that through fitness, one can reach their highest potential both mentally and physically living and leading a healthy life.
The 20 to 0 Program uses fitness events throughout the country to help spread awareness about suicide, depression, and PTSD. Our events get the community involved to show their support in our mission to helping our vets.
Thanks to the outstanding work from our staff, ambassadors, and supporters we have made an impact in the community that is not only seen but has been felt. Our mission is to continue helping and change lives one person at a time.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Military Muscle Foundation has accomplished some of what we have set out to do. Bringing awareness to those who do not know about this epidemic happening in our community. The number is slowing coming down but even if one vet takes their life that is one too many. We are proud of our community in what we have accomplished but we have lots of work to do. Our support and our promise is that You Are Not Alone.
