What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Creation Care Teams
Start a Creation Care Team at your parish, school, or
community. We’ll help you get started and give you
exclusive access to specially designed resources to
help you reduce your carbon footprint and live more justly with creation and the poor.
Feast of St. Francis
The Feast of St. Francis is a 90 minute, once-a-year
educational program that brings people of
faith together to learn about and be inspired by the
Church’s teaching on caring for creation and the poor.
We’ll send you a guide to help plan your celebration.
Earth Day
Celebrate Earth Day every April with our one hour educational program. Each year focuses on a different
theme. Just like the Feast of St. Francis, we’ll send you
a guide to help you plan your celebration.
Catholic Climate Ambassadors
Our Catholic Climate Ambassadors are taking
the good news of creation care to the community.
Our ambassadors are trained experts and can give
compelling talks and presentations to local audiences
of all kinds. Visit our webpage for contact information.
Catholic Energies
Catholic Energies takes the burden of reducing energy waste off already thinly-stretched Catholic organizations. We serve as a single point of contact to help Catholic-owned facilities execute energy procurement, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy storage projects.

Equity strategies
Last updated: 03/09/2021GuideStar partnered with Equity in the Center - an organization that works to shift mindsets, practices, and systems to increase racial equity - to create this section. Learn more
- We analyze disaggregated data and root causes of race disparities that impact the organization's programs, portfolios, and the populations served.
- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
