What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Single moms and their children that have lived in addictive and or abusive relationships, often do not have any self-esteem or tools to better their lives. They often don't have any one that understands, or cares about what they have been thru. They may be working, but not making enough to make their ends meet, or make their lives better. We want to show these moms and their kids, that they have value, that they can be contributing members of the community. We want to show them life can be amazing after addiction and abuse. We will support these families to stand strong on their own. We will provide parenting classes, life coaching, budgeting classes, and more as we determine what each family needs to heal from these destructive relationships. We will support and encourage them, while we empower them to take back their lives and grow strong, showing the next generations to come that life can be better.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We want to show these families that dispute living with addiction and abuse, life can be amazing. That they are stronger than they think and they have value. With faith, support, guidance, and love they can overcome their past, no matter how hard it was.

We will support these families to stand strong on their own. We will provide parenting classes, life coaching, budgeting classes, and more as we determine what each family needs to heal from these destructive relationships. We will not give them money, but teach them how to manage their own earned funds. We will support and encourage them, while we empower them to take back their lives and grow strong, showing the next generations to come that life can be better.

We will start with 1 family for 2 years while we work to raise the funds for our ultimate goal The Village. Where we will house 14 families at a time, rotating every 2 years. The village will be a community way of living with everyone learning to live in peace and harmony. We will establish a network of support for these families. And will look forward to their being part of the Angel's Wing network of extended family for the new families coming into the program.

First we need to raise $185000.00 to support the first family for 2 years, that includes housing, initial set up, programs and staff to support this family.

Once the funds are in place we will do an interview process to find a family that fits with our organization.

With this first family we will work thru the programs to help them build a better life for themselves and their children. We will be working closely with the family, to work thru issues, assess needs and get them on a better path.
