What we aim to solve
Chronic Joy is a global resource ministry dedicated to compassionately serving all those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability by providing accessible, easy-to-use, faith-based educational resources and publications. Those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability are often isolated, lonely, and forgotten about. We extend a warm invitation to receive encouragement through our inspiring blog posts, You Get Mail! program, to get involved with creative service opportunities in faith-based educational materials on our website, Chronic Joy Publications, and free printables. We raise awareness through print and online resources of the significant impact of chronic illness on every aspect of life. Prayer is the heartbeat and foundation of Chronic Joy. We know that whether a request, praise, lament, suffering, loss, hope, grief, or joy, each prayer is important. Making a difference, one precious life at a time.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
You Get Mail!
Too often, those affected by chronic illness and pain are often isolated, lonely, and forgotten. Our You Get Mail! program is an invitation to sign up to receive free, professionally designed and printed, old-school, #PenToPaper snail mail throughout the year. These envelopes of hope are chock-full of free resources, flat cards to send to others, and a reminder that those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, and chronic pain are remembered and loved. When recipients provide birthdays, well send a special mailing to celebrate! When recipients find our envelopes in their mailboxes, their souls do a little happy dance before they open the envelope. Safe & Secure Sign-Ups for Adults, Teens, and Children.
Resources for putting #PenToPaper and for #ConnectByText are available on our website.

Let's Pray
Let's Pray is an invitation to develop your own prayer care plan. Slow down. Breathe deep. Draw near to God, experiencing His Presence in abundant, exceptional, and wildly generous ways.
In addition, we invite you to share your prayer requests in the judgment-free zone of our Prayer Pond. While we love to pray for you by name, we've included an anonymous option because we understand that sometimes just the effort to share a request is vulnerable and hard. Awareness
A global resource ministry dedicated to compassionately serving all those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability by providing accessible, easy-to-use, faith-based educational tools and resources.
Statistics show that either you or someone you love is affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability – far more people than most realize.
Together, as we raise awareness, increase knowledge, and utilize educational materials tailored, we will also be shattering stigma and isolation, reminding each other and ourselves that there is hope. There is always hope.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Removing barriers and taking steps to be more inclusive. It's about kindness in action and loving one another.
The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board. (Ephesians 3:6)
For many it seems like there are more barriers and hurdles than ever before, and simple kindness is in short supply. We will continue to make our comprehensive tools and resources easy to access and easy to use. We will implement a strategy of invitation and highlight our resources one-by-one on social media, in our blog emails, newsletters, on our website, in our #PenToPaper mailings, and through our donor relations.
Raise awareness of the overwhelming impact of chronic illness
Shatter the overwhelming sense of isolation, loneliness, and being forgotten about
Shift and broaden perspectives about accessibility and inclusion
Develop faith-based tools, materials and educational resources
Foster thriving communities for those affected by chronic illness
Facilitate the development of chronic illness ministries in churches and organizations as well as independent small groups in homes, coffee shops, hospitals, libraries, on college campuses, anywhere people gather to share life and discover hope.
