Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to impact the lives of young adults who participate in performing arts activities by providing resources to lessen the financial burden of participating in these opportunities.

By giving any alumni group the platform to create and fund a scholarship, and solicit and screen applicants, we seek to lessen the challenges of giving back to the activities that have impacted our lives and made us who we are today.

In doing so, we are also calling attention to the need for performing arts funding, and educating current members in fundraising strategies beyond our platform.

Our database of existing scholarships demonstrates the potential for funding a scholarship to alumni everywhere. Our social media strategy is getting the word out, and we were able to offer even more in funding our second year than our first.

Our combined expertise in development, web design, management, education, and the performing arts allows us to offer this platform and customize the experience for alumni groups of any size who wish to utilize it to give back.

Our resources section includes guest posts from notable current and former participants who have successfully raised funds in creative ways, beyond the Alumni Funds platform.

Our combined expertise in development, web design, management, education, and the performing arts allows us to offer this platform and customize the experience for alumni groups of any size who wish to utilize it to give back.

In our first year, we offered four scholarships for the DCI season, each worth $500, totaling $2000 in funds for marching members. In our second year, we again offered four scholarships for the DCI season , three worth $500, and one worth $750, totaling $2250 in funds for marching members. This is progress!

As of Spring 2017, we haven't yet accomplished offering scholarships for the WGI season, and this is an immediate goal we strive to accomplish through publicity, gaining credibility and the trust of the performing arts community, and through strategic partnerships.

Our goal is to have even more scholarships for participants to apply to, because the amount of applicants each scholarship receives demonstrates that there is a real need for this!
