Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Founded on March 23, 2016, the mission of the Michigan-based Foundation for the Marketplace of Ideas, Inc., is to educate the public about the freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution and people who and organizations which strive to usurp said freedoms.

Constitutional rights of interest to FMI include but are not limited to:
•The right to freedom of speech;
•The right to freedom of religion;
•The right to freedom of association;
•The right to keep and bear arms;
•The right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures;
•The right to own property; and
•The right to equality before the law.

FMI will advance the cause of freedom by educating the public of current events of concern by way of its website, hosting member-only and public events, and advancing its mission by participating in the courts of public opinion and law.

FMI is the brainchild of Attorney Kyle Bristow, who the SPLC describes as “one of the Alt-Right's most vicious attack dogs" and who's legal and political accomplishments—which the SPLC abhors—amount to “a remarkable trajectory" for the “fairly major figure on the American radical right." Only a licensed lawyer since 2012, Bristow has quickly earned a reputation as an aggressive and brilliant litigator: he is rated as a 10.0/10.0 “superb" attorney on Avvo.com—the highest rating of that website—; he has been rated by Super Lawyers as a 2016 Michigan “Rising Star"—and no more than 2.5% of attorneys earn that peer-reviewed award in any year—; he was named a 2017 “Top Lawyer" by DBusiness magazine; and he pioneered an area of law which has resulted in him being interviewed by major media outlets. The SPLC has conceded on its website that “Bristow doesn't seem destined to the dustbin."

Lawyers sympathetic with Alt-Right philosophy have begun to network with Bristow and FMI; already, attorneys who are licensed to practice law in sixteen states are accepting referrals from FMI to assist with legal activism against social justice warriors.

In the very near future, FMI hopes to file amicus curiae briefs with federal and state courts to promote Alt-Right philosophy and to defend the Western legal tradition—including the fundamental rights which it recognizes—, and to become a legal juggernaut against the enemies of our people.

Bristow has experience with filing successful amicus curiae briefs with courts. In fact, Bristow arguably provided invaluable input to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit when it ruled that Michigan's ban on homosexual marriage is constitutional. Also, Bristow was credited with successfully engaging in “lawfare" when an amicus curie brief filed by him assisted with procuring a major victory for Second Amendment rights.

Since being founded, FMI has already:

•Organized a private function on October 15, 2016, at which James Edwards of The Political Cesspool will speak about the Alt-Right phenomenon to an expected seventy people who will be in attendance.

•Co-sponsored with the National Policy Institute and Identity Evropa an amazing weekend-long conference in July of 2016. Over sixty attendees toured the ruins of Detroit, met during one evening for informative speeches at a scenic location—with an open bar and catered hors d'oeuvres—, explored the Detroit Institute of Arts, met for brunch in a swank suburb bistro, and enjoyed a dinner at a private room of a traditional Polish restaurant in a Polish enclave of Southeast Michigan.

•Published an educational article on its website entitled, “What Alt-Right Activists Can Do When Doxed By The Politically Correct Left." Wildly popular, it was picked up by VDare and American Renaissance and links were tweeted to it by Richard Spencer, James Edwards, and Kevin MacDonald.

•Published newsworthy and educational materials on its website, which often include primary source materials procured via public record requests with governmental actors.
