Safe House for Women
A Focused Approach to a women's 12-18 month donor supported program where those women who need healing can have a safe place to heal and receive freedom as they reclaim their lives and reenter into the community. We utilize case managers, counseling, group studies, accountability, life skills, job training and move toward freedom. This is a 12-18 month program with an additional transitional and aftercare program of mentorship and discipleship following the residence program.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Breaking Free Ministry will address head on the problem of addiction doing our part to help restore women back to God, family and ultimately impacting future generations to come. This holistic program will address addiction from a spiritual perspective and yet will also address the clinical and social side as well. We will offer clinical counseling, individual and group as well as job skills training through Social Enterprise opportunities. We envision the women coming out of the Breaking Free program to have potential employment opportunities with our Social Enterprise network to build lasting opportunities for women
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategy is to continue raising awareness and assessing all community needs for women and youth. Our co-founder works with the US Attorney HEAT group and speaks at various middle and high schools as well as jails and government meetings. Secondly, to reopen our Transformation House for women for Initial recovery. Thirdly, Our goal is to provide a long term crisis house where they can continue to get healing but also begin job training, and begin being a part of our social enterprise where we can help community with jobs and where these women can work and begin a clear path to sustainability in productive lives.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have various ways we are utilizing our capabilities. For instance, we have online giving, monthly supporters, fundraising events and Church support. We have had continued support from various church groups. Some of our internal resourcing has come in the form of networking with our board members which as led to our participating in local fundraisers, as well as making sure we as a board have the correct coverage from insurance perspectives. We have volunteers at this point who assist with the day to day operations of the ministry. We also have had continued support through various partnerships in our community via churches, local chamber and local businesses. All have rallied to help us this last year and are working to locate a new house and willing to help us get it ready and support us in fundraising and other local events we have been apart of to drive donations and awareness.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The house has been a great community gathering if you will of support and volunteers coming to help make this a reality. Since our previous house, we saw lives changed and watched as women moved into long term treatment. We have had many people from the community, city leaders, government officials and others share how addiction has impacted their own families and that we need something like this to combat addiction. As for what has worked and what has not worked so much within our progress thus far really has been truly all positive, however, yes we have learned some things along the way.
