Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a recovery program aimed at all "hurts, habits, and hang-ups", including but not exclusive to: high anxiety; co-dependency; compulsive behaviors; sex addiction; financial dysfunction; drug and alcohol addictions; and eating disorders. Celebrate Recovery is one of the seven largest addiction recovery support group programs. Promotional materials assert that over 3.5 million people have participated in a Celebrate Recovery step study in over 29,000 churches. Approximately two-thirds of these participants are in recovery for something other than drugs or alcohol. Leaders seek to normalize substance abuse as similar to other personal problems common to all people. We strive to help everyone who comes through our doors. If it's them going through the C.R. Program or personal one on one counseling, we have always tried to get to the bottom of the issues & help them grow from those strongholds.
Jellico Youth Basketball
Jellico Youth Basketball is a youth program for kids to play basketball and to get them off the street. We wanted a program that could keep them busy for a few months out of the year being able to do something productive with their time. We have kids starting at age 2 and ending at age 14. Age 14 is the cut off age. That is the last year they can play. This program has been very rewarding to see all these kids want to join the program every year because there are not a lot of activities to do in Jellico, TN. This program has been so good for these kids.

Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We have goals that we would like to reach in our community and surrounding areas. We would like to be more in our community like we are already. There are some things we would like to add to our ministry later on that would have a huge impact in our community. There is a great need for a few of these things. First thing, we would like to start a Homeless Shelter here in our town. There is a great need for it and that is one of our long term goals. If we could raise the money to start it, we would do it immediately. Second, we would like to grow the church more than it is now. We have started a video podcast that will have a great impact in our area. We are very excited for what's to come.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are a church body with other ministries. Our first and foremost strategy is to reach the lost. Sharing Jesus with people is everything to us. He has done so much for us! We want to share what the Lord has done for us! Knowing what Christ has brought us from, we want to share that with others and to keep spreading the gospel. Showing love to others is everything to us. That is also what we are supposed to do as Christians is spread the good word.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our capabilities in reaching these goals are very doable. We think these can for sure meet them in the near future. We want the best overall for our ministry. We our very happy for the future.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have done a lot in our community so far. We started back in 2016 and have went full force every since. We have talked with the people on the streets, to reaching people for the Lord. We have a great need for the homeless as well and I really think we will be able to meet that one day in the near future.
