Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless in the Crossroads.

We utilize many tools to achieve this goal, including identifying homeless individuals, assistance with application, and guidance in several areas once moved to the property. We research funding and apply for grants based on the need and applicability. We maintain an up-to-date website and social media page to facilitate familiarity in our community, online and traditional donation avenues, as well as volunteer opportunities. Interested parties are invited to call to arrange tours, and we open our meeting room to other groups who can learn more about us through attendance.

We have a very hardworking, cohesive board along with a dedicated Executive Director. We meet monthly and all committees present reports from their activities during the month with goals for the next month. We are all engaged in other aspects of the community creating positive exposure for Promise Pointe and we have varied work experience all coming together to create great input and information resources,, completing tasks quickly and efficiently. We have builders working with us, pastors, and other homeless advocacy groups coordinating with us as well.

We have purchased, and own outright our property. We have outfitted a main building to serve as living space for the Executive Director, a meeting room, a computer lab, as well as an office space for professional visits with residents such as nursing, counseling, etc. We have also renovated a second structure to serve as a community bath, laundry, library, and community space for residents that is ADA compliant and totally accessible to all. We have also secured funds for and completed nine separate tiny homes for residents and have successfully begun moving in residents. We have secured funding and a builder for a tenth house as well as a community chapel that will break ground soon.
