Animal welfare, specifically equine - horses, ponies, mules & donkeys.
Limited national reach, mainly focused in Southern California.
Rescue from at-risk situations including risk of abuse and slaughter.
Lifetime protection: sanctuary for some, adoptions to approved homes for others. We will take them back if the adopter requests it to ensure they only need to be rescued once!
Network with other 501(c)3 rescues.
Work in the community to assist those horses in dire need, to keep them in their current homes if that is best for the animal.
Raise awareness to minimize suffering.
Educate, educate, educate! It really makes a difference!
