Mission

At Dallas Universal Life Church, Inc, it's our mission to help you explore your relationship with God and the path he has designed just for you. We are here to help improve those meaningful relationships in your family life.

Everyone has been given their own path to follow, created for each of us, by God. That path is yours and it is not the church's place to tell you what your path is. Rather, the church's responsibility is to guide you to your given path and help you to remain on it throughout this leg of your journey. We use both the Old Testament and the Gospels in our teachings. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.

Notes from the nonprofit

There are a lot of churches and places of worship our there that go by many names, in all different sizes and places. We are not the same as most. We are all inclusive believing that all paths lead to God. Our job is not to bog you down with rules and guidelines, but rather to help you in your communication with God so that you can stay on the path that he laid for you. Together we combine our strength, faith, love, and experience becoming a family that can lean on each other and support each other; a family we can rejoice with when times are great and who can be there for each other when times are rough. We strive to be Men and Women for others in our everyday lives rejecting a selfish lifestyle and instead devoting our lives to others by sharing our gifts, our skills, our talents, our possessions and ourselves with others without expecting anything in return. This is who we are and we are proud to stand out as living a radically different lifestyle from the rest of the world.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Dallas Universal Life Church wants to bring the true meaning of Christianity back to the world. It emphasizes this endeavor in its slogan, "Forget what you think about church."

Living by example: We have to show that we are true Christians through our lives and actions,

Teaching: We have Sunday services and The Bishop's Roundtable for in depth study

Outreach: We must spread our message through any means possible

Bishop Mark leads his congregation with the knowledge necessary to achieve their goals. The congregation gains the tools for outreach by attending services and The Bishop's Roundtable.

It's a slow process unfortunately but the church Is teaching the world 1 person at a time what the true meaning of Christianity is,

Data
  • We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
  • We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
  • We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
  • We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
Policies and processes
  • We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
  • We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
  • We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
  • We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
