Mission

To bring hope to the children and families living in the Namatala Slum in Mbale, Uganda through the love of Jesus. We are in partnership with Ebenezer Baptist Church which has ministered from their church in the heart of the slum since September 200. There are over 15,000 children living within a one-half mile radius of the church property and over half of that number are orphans or at risk. We help provide for the children's medical needs through two on-site clinics, help with tuition fees, provide food for over 600 families each month, and provide Spiritual training and educational development to 170+ students at Ebenezer Christian School. We also provide vocational training to both young people and adults in farming, sewing, etc. Child Sponsorship Program with 160+ children sponsored

Child advocacy and assistance in Mbale Uganda's Namatala Slum

Work in partnership with Ebenezer Baptist Church to assist and care for the orphaned and at risk children who live in the Namatala Slum. Our ministry field includes approximately 7000 children who fall into this category that live within a one-half mile radius of the church property. We offer a daily meal that reaches 125-200 children daily. We provide tuition assistance for approximately 150 children who would otherwise not be able to attend school. We have an onsite medical clinic that provides vitamins and medicines to the children and adults of the village. We are currently providing emergency shelter for 25 orphaned and/or at-risk children who otherwise would be on the streets.
Opened Ebenezer Christian School in February 2019 with Grades Primary 1-4. We Began with 3 permanent classrooms and one temporary. Construction has begun on 3 new permanent classrooms to be completed prior to February 2020. Our goal is to add 1 class level per year through Primary 7 with dormitory space to house 1+ students on site.
Ebenezer Baptist Church began worshipping in their new 600+ seat sanctuary/ministry center on Easter Sunday 2019. This is the site where the daily feeding program for the children is located. Both the school and the church buildings are capable of expansion to 3 levels each with the church structure ultimately increasing to approximately 18,000 square feet to include a level 4 medical clinic and emergency shelter for at-risk teenage mothers and Bible College/Seminary. The school structure will ultimately include 12 classrooms and 6 dormitory rooms.
