The Metaplastic Breast Cancer Project

STAGE 4 METAPLASTIC PATIENTS ARE NEEDED TO HELP ADVANCE RESEARCH INTO METAPLASTIC CARCINOMA OF THE BREAST
The Metaplastic Breast Cancer Global Alliance is pleased to partner with The Metastatic Breast Cancer Project. Our goal is to link patients with Metastatic Metaplastic to the MBC project and support advancing research. This partnership aims to fill an important gap that hinders research into Metaplastic Carcinoma of the Breast.
The MBC Project is led by a team at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. The project shares de-identified genomic, clinical, and patient-reported data publicly to enable as many research scientists as possible to make discoveries in order to accelerate understanding of our disease.
The MBC project is a nationwide movement of patients, doctors, and scientist working with metastatic breast cancer patients and advocacy organizations. Metastatic breast cancer patients participate by sharing their tumor samples and medical information. The goal is to advance the development of future treatment options and therapies.
