Mission

The DCSAACI is the South Asian cultural Ambassador to promote music, films, dance, theater, books, painting, and host panel discussions on important social issues. The objective of the organization is to bring people together and celebrate what we have in common and appreciate the South Asian art, culture and food. DC South Asian Arts Council Inc., hosts the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival (DCSAFF). The festival takes place annually in the heart of America’s capitol, showcasing the best in alternative cinema from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
