Programs and results
What we aim to solve
How to save more animals, and help others. We have partnered with PATH International to provide, what may be the most impactful project that we have offered. Working closly with our Psycotherapist, we will offer a ground based program for others that are seeking a Holistic approach to their healing. We have not made the impact we would like yet because of financial constraints, but remains steadfast in our conviction to change the world for horses and humans.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Horse Santuary
Haven horses that will reside at Hosanna Horse Haven for the remainder of their lives. Never having to be bounced from owner to owner, having thier emotional, and physical specilaty needs met by knowledgable staff.
Equine Therapy
**** new for 2022, we began creating a program in conjunction with our partners at ASilverLining ,to work with at risk youth. This program is still unfunded. We are seeking sponsorships to build our indoor arena, and to complete our accreditations*** For more information in regard to being a part of this please email us at [email protected]***
We believe - With the healing love of the rescued horses we will help the youth by, building a sense of self worth and respect, improving their communication skills, building trust and self-efficiency.
They will also develop socialization skills which will decrease isolation, in addition to
learning impulse control and emotional management.
Our program will also help them to set boundaries.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
So how do we save animals? By making them indispensable to humans. Most programs focus on human wellness, leaving animals on the back burner. We will work to prove to people that the best outcomes for people result in the best outcomes for animals. Our mission is to create human-animal programs that are so effective, it wouldn't make sense to treat people without them.
We hope and pray that our idea will be strongly considered, as we do not have the necessary resources to begin dog rescue and rehab until we receive funding.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We have partnered with another non-profit organization, ASilverLining Counseling, Inc., to provide, what may be the most impactful project that has ever been offered. Lisa and Will, the founders of Hosanna Horse Haven have given up their old lives and sold most of their possessions to focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and adopting horses. Although it has been a difficult venture, they would not trade it for the world. Ashley, one of the founders of A SilverLining Counseling, has done the same, she left a for-profit counseling business, sold her home, and moved her family to Tennessee to open a facility and change the lives of people and animals. She has not made the impact she would like yet because of financial constraints, but remains steadfast in her conviction to change the world.
Together we believe that saving animals saves lives and are excited to offer the 1st inpatient high-risk youth and outpatient (adult and youth) substance abuse programs that combine evidence based treatments, with animal-assisted therapy. This is not just a couple of contacts with animals per week, no, rescue animals will be used in treatment 100% of the time.
Our first year focuses on dogs and horses, but we plan to include other animals (and human conditions) in subsequent years. Our participants will work with a professional trainer to train the dogs and the horses to be certified therapy animals, who will either be adopted to the participants themselves, individuals with disabilities, other organizations, or other people across the US. To make the greatest impact and reach the most people, our participants will be heavily involved in rescue efforts, community outreach, human-animal interaction education, and events to promote animal welfare and the human-animal bond.
We have strong support from the community, including other non-profits, veterinarians, judges, probation officers, counselors, attorneys, and the community members themselves. We have also drawn in attention from surrounding states. We hope that our idea spreads like wildfire so that organizations across the globe see that when we save animals, they really save us. To spread this idea we have assembled a team of published researchers who will evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and disseminate the information through highly esteemed journals.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have strong support from the community, including other non-profits, veterinarians, judges, probation officers, counselors, attorneys, and the community members themselves.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have accquired the property to house the youth and therapy dogs, as well as the stables for the equine program. We are seeking funding to build our covered arena, and continuing to make updates to the property while awaiting our final inspections.
