Building Homes for Homeless Veterans
Southern CC Inc. will be building model homes in the community in which we will teach women, young adults, veterans, military personnel, and offenders about acquiring life skills that can help them pursue a trade. There will be certified electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and landscapers that will be monitoring and training in order to make sure that the model home being presented will be in excellent condition and up to code. With the tutelage of these specialists, the apprentices will learn the skills and obtain hands on experience in order to receive their own licenses within their given profession.

Southern CC, Inc. Recovery Solution
Southern CC, Inc. takes a in-depth approach to not allow depression, physical, nor psychological issues to increase the number of veterans or military taking their lives. The act of suicide not only affects the individual but extends to the people in contact with the person that is trying to commit the act. Southern C.C. wishes to extend the assist with the fight of mental strains by offering opportunities to allow people to express themselves by means of many creative outlets. The hope is to restore balance by continuously uniting our community.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Building a self sufficient community filled with Education, Finance and Faith. In which we will use the community to build a home, educate the tenet in obtaining a trade such as plumier, electrician, landscaper etc. Then employ them to take care of the community and mentor the youth. To help cope and deal with mental strains such as suicide, ptsd, anger etc.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Partnering up with local colleges, programs in the community. We keep the tenet active for example. to stay in the homes available the tenet will have to be apart of the neighborhood watch to (protect help protect the community), have to be apart of the community development (to improve the community), and attend city council meetings "at least 3 meetings per year" ( to have a voice for the community)
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We obtain property and started our first home build which will be dedicated to 3SFG Capt Andrew Pedersen Keel who was killed in the line of duty.
We also partnered up with local community colleges such as Fayetteville Tech Community College for their continue education programs to assist with the teaching of trades.
We have a production team to help assist with creating videos, writing, acting.
We also have a cooking class on fort bragg
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Partnerships with local community colleges, production team, chefs for cooking program.
Next is building a veteran Center, in which we will be in prime location of the community. We already have the land and in the process of the creating the plans. Obtain Corporate sponsorship. Plan our first Fun raiser.
