Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
SAVE22 is dedicated to raising awareness about the estimated 22 Veterans that take their own lives daily. We provide support to fight the demons many veterans face through the network we have created and by programs we have in place.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
SAVE22 brings awareness to this fact through community events such as
our annual SAVE22 Hike, fundraisers, and community participation. SAVE22 actively works with veterans on a daily basis by offering a twenty-four hour crisis hotline personally answered by veterans, guidance on services offered to veterans in their area, transportation to/from medical/VA appointments, emergency assistance, critical response in their greatest time of need and programs such as golf outings, fishing trips, motorsports events, art sessions, hiking expeditions and equestrian experiences. These programs provide veterans an opportunity to spend the day participating in an activity they enjoy while in the company of fellow veterans, at no cost to them.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
SAVE22 has created the aforementioned activities, events and programs that have proven to be successful and continue to grow year after year. Through diligent planning and budgeting; with the continued support and generosity from our community, area businesses and individuals; we will continue to offer these programs to our veterans.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
SAVE22 continues to bring awareness to the veteran suicide rate through community events such as
our annual SAVE22 Hike, fundraisers, and community participation. As SAVE22 continues to grow here in Ohio, North and South Carolina, we look forward to expanding throughout the United States through local chapters that would bring awareness and veteran programs to communities everywhere across the nation.
