Mission

At Humankind Alliance we believe that strong connections make strong communities in which every person–regardless of gender, race, career, or class–is an integral and vital contributor. It takes all of us, operating as a nation at our highest potential and working together to address the modern challenges that we face to rebuild a foundation of trust, respect, and understanding. From this foundation we can come together as humankind, and forge solutions to large scale challenges. Humankind Alliance is dedicated to providing social and emotional intelligence training through non-traditional modes of education to forge collaboration for a solution-based world.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Law Enforcement Community Initiative (THRIVE AND RENEW)

Our country is facing incomprehensible challenges, paramount among them the disintegration of trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The results: loss of life on both sides of this complex issue. Many live in fear that their interactions with law enforcement will result in unjust punishment, or worse, death.

Law enforcement itself is up against an unfathomable reality that has never before existed in the history of our country - assassination by the very public they serve. Men and women behind the badge are concerned and disheartened by the fact that the police badge, which once stood for service and protection, now tragically represents the deeply entrenched inequalities that our country struggles with across the board.

There is no time to place blame, only time for solutions. HA is resolved to re-establish a foundation of peace through our THRIVE and RENEW programs. Working hand-in-hand, with understanding and respect, we will effect extraordinary change in our communities.

THRIVE
THRIVE provides law enforcement across the country modernized/standardized trainings regardless of size, budget, and expertise of agencies. The outcome is cutting-edge, comprehensive trainings that are easily disseminated and implemented to every law enforcement agency in the country.

THRIVE addresses critical challenges including adept communication, tactical, navigating public mental health, and more. Influential community members integrate into THRIVE trainings, creating mutual understanding, humanizing law enforcement, and empowering transparency capable of collapsing walls previously formed.

RENEW
RENEW provides comprehensive educational programs for communities creating awareness into how and why men and women behind the badge operate, empowering civilians to work together with them to forge a peaceful and safer country.

RENEW embraces social media by implementing a forum for immediate feedback from civilians directly to law enforcement and vice-versa. This open forum fosters collaboration, increases transparency, and helps to recognize challenges and navigate solutions in real time.

This one-of-a-kind concept was originally designed for Undercover Rose, Inc. (UR), a for-profit company by Founder, Janice Niederhofer. UR’s Operation - Beyond the Trenches is designed to engage influential women who have a global impact, creating a ripple effect of collaboration and empowerment amongst all women throughout the world.
Humankind Alliance and Undercover Rose have come together to educate and inspire women in recognizing that we are all equal, and on this journey of life together. In furtherance of this, HA has created a scholarship program whereby the women who have completed the UR Operation - Beyond the Trenches, return as mentors in support of the scholarship recipients: women in professions of service. This innovative experience guides all women to be their true selves, and use the power of collaboration to foster a bold, wise, and evolved world.

Women in fields of service are vital to communities across the nation. They are your child’s teacher, your father’s caregiver, your sister’s nurse, the soldier protecting your freedom, and the woman in law enforcement who keeps your neighborhood safe. These women are rarely recognized for their contributions to the world, but are dedicated public servants. Here at HA, we know that these women are leaders. Their intimate roles in the lives of others gives them an immense capacity to create change. We are dedicated to providing these women with the skills and tools to help them grow and develop as individuals and as leaders.

We deliver these tools in a non-traditional and exciting way through our Operation - Beyond the Trenches: Women’s Scholarship Program.

Operation - Beyond the Trenches is an unparalleled, transformative and unique experience for women who are powerful forces of service; nurses, wounded warriors, teachers, caregivers and law enforcement. Women who have chosen these career fields dedicate much of their lives to others. They commonly work long, arduous hours, sacrificing their own needs, and their compensation rarely meets their level of service. Here at HA we recognize this vital populace of dedicated women and have created a scholarship endowment in support of their personal and professional development regardless of financial ability.
In this three day, three night, 5-star event, scholarship recipients discover new modes of operation through fun, cutting-edge expertise historically only offered to top-tier operatives. Participants tackle challenges like never before, getting to play and explore new things while engaging with and learning from extraordinary trainers and speakers. Attendees from the same career field undergo this transformative journey together, further building camaraderie.

Operation - Beyond the Trenches is a real-life metaphor that delivers strategies and tools immediately applicable to both their business and personal lives. Through multi-dimensional growth in this one-of-a-kind event, women expand their voices and amplify their cognitive, physiological, and instinctual capabilities. Women are guided to be their best selves while competing with other women, all while collaborating and raising up the very women they are competing with.
