Mission

"Create Community Movements to Equip Veterans to Return, Learn, and Earn with Continued Significance." We empower veterans and their families to pursue purpose through creativity, coaching and camamraderie. Our military-experienced coaches Connect, Train, Coach, and Launch our clients to start, or jump-start meaningful new lives, rewarding new careers. We equip our clients to:  Understand their identity and purpose outside the military, discover their unique strengths, gifts, passions, values, and beliefs while enhancing relationship skills.  Develop passion-driven vision and mission statements and a 12-month Game Plan.  Thrive with one year of individual coaching along with the camaraderie of a tribe of like-minded veterans and their family members.

WarriorArt

WarriorArt takes the principles of the VetStarts training curriculum and incorporates them into an art platform that runs from basic through advanced training. These veteran-led workshops are designed to teach and explore creative tools for relaxation and expression through art.

WarriorArt is the entry-level program offered at no cost to our core veterans, first responders, and their family members. This platform is the introduction for cohort development for the follow-on training and coaching.

For nearly 30 years the Halftime Institute has helped thousands of highly successful business professionals around the world discover "what's next" in their journey. VetStarts partners with the Halftime Institute to provide our clients and their families a military-tailored version of what many believe to be the very best transition process available.

Halftime for Veterans provides a customizable training and coaching experience to help our clients regardless of rank, age, gender, nationality, or beliefs build a second-half legacy and excel in the most important areas of their lives.

Acts of service go a long way in changing the lives of those involved. Through Mission Adventures, military service members and first responders share opportunities to meet the needs of those who are hurting and be a part of a mission bigger than themselves.

VetStarts partners with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) to host Mission Adventure trips to build 16' x 20' houses for impoverished families in Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic over a four-day weekend. Each team has a YWAM lead builder and a VetStarts veteran builder to facilitate the construction and delivery of a finished home to a family in need. The event is transformational for everyone involved. A habitable home has a multi-generational impact on the family. And the veteran builders get to tap into their servant nature with tangible impact.

Local community service project s are also available to Halftime for Veterans Alumni. VetStarts partners with a number of local organizations that reach people in need in the local community. This may include yard clearing, painting, handyman repairs, or making a home more handicap accessible based upon the individual or family's needs.
