Programs and results
What we aim to solve
At the beginning of every year, we sit down as an organization and make plans for the upcoming year and the next five years. Since COIVD, we have been busier than ever. We went from one mission every few months, to having a mission multiple times a week. Our membership over doubled and we have been able to bring in a great board and committee members. Our biggest issue right now is having to many missions. We will be making changes for 2023 so that the work load is distributed evenly.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Welcome Homes
Our main purpose is to welcome home all returning Military Heroes across the Central Coast.
We surprise them at airports, train stations or at there home.
All local American Legions, VFW, and Patriot Guard Riders join us for these events.
Depending on family requests we will also bring in California Highway Patrol, Sheriff Department and City Police along with local Fire Departments.
Funerals
Our members will participate in local Military Funerals. We will be there holding a line of American Flags for all fallen Veterans or Active Duty Military Personnel.
We will also participate in escorts to bring home the body of the Fallen Military Hero.
We help coordinate with all local law enforcement agencies and other military organizations.
Flag Lines
Local Military Organizations will call and ask use to have a flag line for there events. Our members will show up holding Americans flags that they brought or that we provided.
Yearly events we participate in are with great organizations like AmpSurf, Operation Surf, Mighty Oaks Warrior Program, and etc

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our main accomplishment is to continue to honor our Veterans. We want to welcome home more Military Heroes, send more care packages, get more members to come to our events and build up our relationships with other local Military non-profit organizations.
Our goal is to raise over $100,000 at the 2023 Veteran Golf Classis, welcome home over 300 local Military Heroes, send over 500 care packages, replace 100 American Flags and help 300 local Military Heroes with our Veteran Angel Tree Program.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategy is to continue to have our members help us find local Military Heroes who are needing our support. We will also continue to promote the organization with on social media and local media outlets so we can help even more Veterans.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Continue to use social media and local media to promote what the organization does. COVID really helped our organization thrive! We shifted our missions and it helped up double our membership and have become one of the strongest Veteran organizations on the Central Coast.
We will continue doing all our missions to help honor more Military Heroes.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
2022 has been an amazing year for us. We raised almost $100,000 over the year for Veterans on the Central Coast. We welcomed home over 200 Military Heroes from WWII to present day Military Heroes. WHMH helped over 200 on the Veteran Angel Tree program and have sent over 500 care packages. This is just a little bit of what we are doing.
We will continue all these programs next year, expect we are hoping to increase all those numbers.
