What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The Standever Institute's mission is to ensure that the public has access to advanced technical training and certifications, free of charge. Enterprise level automation and the emergence of commercial AI deployments have just begun to displace once secure, well paid, professional jobs. This trend will certainly continue to increase pressure on industries to automate and downsize the human workforce across many sectors within the US economy.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Education and job placement assistance will represent an integral part of the overall solution to this eminent and needless human capital crisis. The Standever Institute will meet a portion of that overall solution through development and distribution of high quality course materials, instructor training and student certification.

We have begun building alliances throughout the technical community via speaking events, awareness campaigns and online publication. We have also furthered our cause within most of the leading technology companies in the United States in an effort to gain traction and credibility for job placement activities in the future.

We have created and acquired more than 600 hours of high quality, professional level training videos, classroom curriculum and online teaching content from sources including: Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Carnegie Mellon, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard, University of Washington and many others.

During our first 12 months of operation we have delivered 467 combines course hours of instruction to 67 participants across 3 disciplines of study. During the next 12 months we will attempt the professional certification of 50 cybersecurity professionals and 50 Certified Ethical Hackers (CEH v9) while conducting an additional 500 hours of community and public training courses.
