What we aim to solve
Honduras currently ranks as the fourth poorest country in the western hemisphere, and rates highest in crime worldwide.
Starvation, death from disease, gangs, and human trafficking are just some of the realities the people in these communities deal with on a daily basis. We believe that by bringing the word of Jesus Christ, in addition to food, into these neighborhoods, we can make a difference….one soul at a time!
We have a clear understanding what God calls us to BE and DO. Therefore, we believe that in Christ, we can:
Form, develop, and make disciples who will transform their community and the world.
Foster life and love in Honduran neighborhoods by providing much needed food.
Educate the minds of Children who are hungry for the Word of God and who desire a solid Christian Education.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Right Turn Ministries Feeding Program
We supply food to local barrios who are physically hungry. We concentrate on feeding at our established in home Bible Study locations first, then the local neighborhoods next.
Right Turn Ministries Education Program
We provide funding for students in high risk areas the opportunity to attend a Private, Christian, Bi-Lingual school. By providing this education, we are offering them a way out of poverty and teaching them life skills that will allow them to become successful men and women in their communities.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We hope to change one life at a time! We will do so by offering feeding programs for those who are physically hungry, offer a private, Christian, Bi Lingual education to those who desire to learn their way out of poverty. We are working in high at-risk neighborhoods telling the young people there is more to life than Gangs and Sex Trade.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We travel to Honduras quarterly to build our relationships with the local neighborhoods and work closely with the churches in those high risk areas. We provide Bibles, Food and Education in these areas.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We seek to raise funds for our MATERIIALS only. All of our trips to Honduras are paid in full by the team member traveling. We plan to used donated funds to purchase Bibles and Food for our areas of concentration.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have grown our in home Bible Studies exponentially and plan to double that growth in the next 12 months.

- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
