Mission Statement: To engage the public in southern Selkirk resource and land management issues through cooperation, scientific inquiry, education, and economic diversification.

Geographic Area: The Selkirk Conservation Alliance advocacy area includes approximately 2,755 square miles in northeast Washington and the northern panhandle of Idaho. It encompasses the communities of Metaline Falls, Ione, Cusick, Newport, Priest River, Coolin, Nordman, Sandpoint, and Bonners Ferry. Priest Lake Citizens Voluntary Monitoring Program (CVMP)

The SCA leads the Idaho Dept of Env. Quality Water Quality monitoring program at Priest Lake, ID. The SCA provides staff, trained volunteers, scientific sampling equipment, boat, insurance, etc.; sampling up to 15 sites monthly from ~ May through October since 2008.
