We invest in social enterprise partners that use market-based solutions that empower people to earn a living and improve their lives. By tapping into the potential of market forces to bring about long-lasting change for impoverished families, we are able to have a greater, more sustainable impact. Currently, our partners consist of social enterprises that provide high-impact products and services focused around opportunity areas designed to address various facets of poverty: livelihoods, education, energy, housing, health and sanitation. Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our ten-year aspirational goals are to invest $500 million into impact-led social enterprises that deliver market-sustaining innovations comprised of at least 20 investment initiatives (i.e. women-centered finance with education and cookstoves) that bring meaningful opportunity to 30 million people living in poverty - empowering them to earn a living and improve their own lives.

Using philanthropic capital to prove out sustainable solutions and loan capital to sustain and grow proven solutions, we will continue to invest in partners that include microfinance institutions, cooperatives and social businesses to reach families living in poverty. We will focus our efforts on delivering essential products and services in the areas of health services, economic resilience, and green energy to impoverished families, with a focus on women and rural communities who face the greatest obstacles in accessing essential products and services that will help them lift themselves out of poverty.
