What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Texas has not moved into a positive position of individual responsibility of pet care and education. Our over population of abandoned, abused and homeless dogs/cats is of epidemic portions. We focus on education; educating the value of become better at pet ownership. We start by helping the younger children to understand this goal of care, by teaching and leading by example. We developed the concept of "In order to change the future, we must teach the present." (Lou Robinson). Striving to change the mindset with children and adults of the importance of spay/neuter, health, commitment, safety and pet retention. While providing a voice to so many that need help. Warriors Educate About Rescue sets an example "to be a Warrior" for the dog/cat, to be a voice, to do what is right and fight for the well being of the animal. In doing so, we believe with our whole heart handicap pets and/or special needs pets can provide excellence companionship. We believe "Different is NOT Disposable."
