Education Program

Vision Rescue's Education Program is an innovative initiative designed to deliver non-formal and formal education to children living in the slums of several large cities in India.

1) A daily bus program provides nutritious meals and non-formal education for street children. With each class 45 mins in length, we are able to provide mobile classes every day of the week.
2) The Beacon Community School was established as a Bridging program in two large slums for children in Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG year groups. This program is the next step from non-formal to formal education.
3) In an endeavor to keep older children away from anti-social activities, the sports program provides positive role models and a healthy outlet for older teenage boys with the goal of introducing them to formal education or vocational training.
