What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Cruelty may involve beating, shooting or stabbing animals, or setting them on fire. Neglect is not giving an animal necessary food, water, shelter or vet care. Because their misery is often prolonged, animals who die of neglect can suffer just as much as animals who are deliberately harmed. We work to help end the abuse of animals. Advocacy and education are key elements of our work. To protect animals in danger of extinction in Guatemala by providing a sanctuary for animals confiscated by Guatemala government from people who unscrupulously rob animals from their environment. They keep them locked up and tied in small cages just because they look good in their homes. If the animal can survive in the mountains, they are let go. If the animal is unable to feed or care for himself he is kept on the preserve and are cared for.
