Mission

In early 2017, Royal Animal Refuge was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in response to the growing need to save adoptable animals placed on the urgent list at the county shelter as well as adoptable pets with extreme medical emergencies, strays, and owner surrenders. Our goal is to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, find homes for unwanted pets, provide medical care for the injured and sick, educate the community about animal welfare. In August of 2017, Royal Animal Refuge became the only private nonprofit animal rescue in Fayette County, GA to operate in a freestanding building.
