What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Reports tell us of a growing justice gap, a divide between the cost of legal services and ability to pay for those costs. Sliding-scale law firms are a part of the solution and the Linrya Justice Center is proud to be among the first law firms in Texas formed to provide sliding scale and reduced-fee legal services to our middle income neighbors.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To expand access to estate planning by local attorneys and to provide an alternative to DIY services, which can cost users significantly more in legal fees from poorly drafted or improperly executed documents.

Provide sliding-scale fee structure so that the cost of services is within reach of middle income individuals.

The staff attorney has 8 years' experience in providing this kind of estate planning to her regular clients, and shares this knowledge with the Justice Center. The goal is for middle income people to receive the same level of estate planning documents by utilizing technology to increase accessibility.

Marketing and spreading the word continues by sharing the Justice Center's mission with other local attorneys.
