To elevate, inspire, and support women and diversity of all races, cultures, and backgrounds through every stage of their information security career with education, collaboration, and resources offered online and at inclusive and welcoming conferences.

The Plan of Activities is to offer information and cyber security conferences which promote women and gender diversity, featuring a wide variety of high quality information and cybersecurity content, networking and career advancement opportunities, as well as ongoing online mentoring support. The annual events will be a two-day conferences including general sessions, keynotes, workshops, and roundtable discussions.

In detail :

Provides ongoing mentorship to women and related gender minorities in the cyber security field.
Offer cybersecurity events which showcases:
-Diverse speakers to educate on a range of topics related to information security and gender.
-Training and workshops to learn and share on a wide variety of cybersecurity and gender topics.
Career villages
-Soldering and maker village to teach attendees how to solder circuit boards.
-CTF, Challenges and Puzzles Village to train attendees on penetration testing.
Support for new members of the community where we pair new speakers with experienced mentors to help them develop valuable skills.

The plan is to market the annual Diana Initiative event primarily via the Diana Initiative web site and social media including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and by word of mouth. The marketing strategy will be to provide a web site and create news messages linking to our web site on social media as well as emails to our past attendees and donors.

The Diana Initiative offered cybersecurity educational conferences for women and their allies opened. to all interested participants. The conferences offered a wide variety of information and cybersecurity content, as well as networking and career advancement opportunities. The Diana Initiative events not only offered diverse, high-quality content, but also support new members of the community through speaking tracks where new speakers were paired with experienced mentors to help them develop valuable skills.

For our next conference we estimate over 400 attendees per session and an approximate attendee count of over 1000 during the conference event. While our website will contain the most up to date information, highlights of this year’s conference include :

-Two large speaker tracks able to accommodate 250 attendees per session/tracks
-A workshop track
-Engaging events and challenges
-Lock picking village
-Career village
-Badge soldering and maker village
CTF village
-Online and on site mentoring
