Mission

The mission of this organization is to assist the homeless towards self-sufficiency and greater independence. In this we will help to meet basic needs, encourage movement out of homelessness, connect to resources, mentor individuals, teach and assist with budgeting and aid in attaining gainful employment and sustainable housing.

Folsom Winter Shelter

We provide emergency shelter at local faith facilities during the coldest and wettest season.

During the 12 coldest weeks of winter we offer a safe comfortable place to sleep along with a hot meal. We rotate the location between local churches and bring services and resources to the sites.

We are working with the homeless in the City to begin helping them put their lives back on track.

We provide mentoring, support and assistance in helping them attain goals for jobs and housing.

We are connected to various resources and programs within the region and we utilize our volunteer mentors to help direct and assist our clients with navigating the available resources. We provide one on one mentoring and assistance to help them achieve their goals

We have operated a temporary winter shelter to provide temporary housing for local homeless. Through this we have developed their trust and have begun working with them to connect them to resources, employment and housing.
