Mission

Socks and Paws Animal Rescue is a locally-run and supported 501c3 nonprofit organization serving the Indian Wells Valley since August 2017. Our board members and volunteers have over 15 years of animal rescue experience specializing in large breed dogs. Socks and Paws is a completely foster-based rescue and has helped find over 140 dogs their forever homes. We foster dogs regardless of breed, age, medical need, or temperament. By working with Cal City Pet Clinic and a local dog trainer, we strive to give our furry friends the best chance of adoption. Socks and Paws Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to serving the Indian Wells Valley and surrounding communities through foster-based housing, rehabilitation and training, providing veterinary care and compassion with the end goal of finding each rescue animal their forever home. The overwhelming amount of animals at local kill shelters is a problem. We are trying to educate to fix your pets. Micro chip and register your pets. Claim your pets when found. Be responsible.

Educate and Vaccinate

We are educating the public on the dangers of not vaccinating their pets and offering a low cost clinic to them. We are also transporting animals to be neutered or spayed where the owner cannot afford to do so.

We would like to get our local shelters to be completely no KILL and help more with education and spay and neuter programs. We would like the shelters to be empty.

Pushing education on the public and offering low cost spay and neuter programs to people who cant afford it. As well as transporting if needed . MIcro chip programs and vaccination programs made available to the public.

We are young strong group with over 15 years experience in rescuing animals. We set goals we can achieve and take each problem one step at a time.

We have accomplished saving over 200 animals from death and placing them with forever families in less then 2 years.
