Mission

We hold power accountable by empowering people who witness wrongdoing to speak out, protecting people who have shared public interest information with the press, assisting in media investigations of wrongdoing, and advocating for change in policies and whistleblower protections. Through these efforts we aim to make an EPIC impact and help shape a fairer, freer, and more democratic world.

Whistleblower Protection Program

The Signals Network affords customized support services to a selected number of whistleblowers who have contributed to published reports of significant wrongdoing. The types of services the Signals Network can provide to selected whistleblowers in appropriate cases are: Legal Support/Representation, Digital Security, Media Relations Management and Engagement, Advocacy, Psychological Support, and Safe Housing/physical security.

Population(s) Served

Empower workers to know their rights, laws and support systems before they decide whether to come forward; support journalists in working with whistleblowers to Investigate revelations; and we advocate for change to policies to improve whistleblower protections.
