What we aim to solve
Most rural Zambian girls stop going to school after Grade 9. A combination of poverty, sexism, tradition and other factors make it to difficult. Instead, many get married, have children and settle into a life of subsistence farming.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to increase rural Zambian girl's access to education. We do this by assisting the girls financially and thus removing a major barrier to school.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We collect donations from the public and then distribute them to girls who have demonstrated their work ethic, intelligence, and desire to continue their education.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
At Insaka we have a good mix of experience working with non-profits, financial matters, volunteers, Zambian schools, small business and legal matters. We are confident in our ability to successfully operate this organization. We rely completely on the public for donations. During 2017 we hope to raise enough money to pay for two girls to finish Grade 12. During 2018 our goal is five new girls.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since forming in August 2017, we have raised enough money to support two girls. They both recently started Grade 10.
