My Pig Filled Life

Where Hearts and Hooves Matter

aka My Pig Filled Life Mini Pig Rescue   |   Wills Point, TX   |  https://mypigfilledlife.org/

Mission

My Pig Filled Life is a 501c3 status operating as a non profit organization specifically dedicated promoting and supporting the rescue & care of mini pigs by providing the compassion, commitment and companionship they deserve. This started like many of you with a mini pig and big heart. After a few months of educating myself, I saw a growing need for rescue facilities in East Texas. So me and my mini Pearl started My Pig Filled Life Mini Pig Rescue to do what we could to make a difference in the lives of mini pigs. To date we are family to 154189 pigs and have rescued over 250 since starting in 2016.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Our goal is to educate owners on the habits and behaviors of mini pigs to improve relationship building with their pets. We also strive to raise the standards on rescue care. We target new families and new rescue organizations to provide educational guidance and support . We also strive to make people aware of the misconceptions about size of mini pigs. At My Pig Filled Life, we meet this responsibility by giving each of our rescues their best life. This is not merely a question of whether they deserve to be treated with respect and kindness by humans, to live a life free of abuse or neglect, suffering and exploitation, fear and distress. We recognize pigs as sentient beings, capable of forming lasting and loving bonds with one another, with humans and with other animals. It can be fairly stated that they share our understanding of human concepts such as home and family. Its our dream to realize these fulfilling concepts in the life of every one of our pigs.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Change the world one rescued pig at a time. End breeding of mini pigs and educate people of the advantages of adopting an adult mini pig.

Social media presence and onsite premise events to sharing of real stories of pigs diet habits, behaviorial issues. On premise new parenting classes.

One pig at a time...we hope to change the misconceptions about mini pig ownership. Its not just size, its behavior and intelligence that owners need to be aware of to ensure best long term fit.

We have rescued over 450 minis and spent countless hours educating both new parents and new rescue owners on mini pigs. Whats next....change the world!
